Beer line cleaning is probably the most important and fundamental part of cellar management. It is imperative that lines are cleaned regularly and it is the responsibility of the landlord to ensure that this is carried out.

Beer Line CleaningBeer lines should be cleaned every 7 days without fail, but please refer to specific brand owner’s guidelines and specifications. If beer lines are left for too long without cleaning, then yeast and bacteria are allowed to build up, resulting in poor hygiene and beer quality which primarily results in unprofitable beer.

Polar Fridge, along with our sister company Dispense Solutions, offer a full line cleaning service from keg to tap including cellar bouys.  Standard line cleaning is available at a cost of £46.00 for 1-6 lines and then £6.50 per line after or Blitz cleaning for a more intensive clean available at £56.00 for 1-6 lines then £8.50 per line after.  As well as the line clean our technicians will check through free of charge all your dispense equipment to make sure that it’s all operating correctly.
